Fair point, hopefully any band going forward that gets an invite tells them to fuck off until they can consistently get a decent sound coming out of that place.

Any 16 yr.old kid with a garage band can make that stage sound better than that. Start with fixing the band's monitor. Every band says there isn't any sound coming out of it. Pretty important piece.

its a "fake" building built inside of a warehouse... nothing is solid. there's no noise cancelling... and by the sounds of it they only know how to mic stuff for radio and music uses a completely different concept to mic properly and mix.

Not that I'm cutting them slack on this. This has been Bubba's problem all along. He has big ideas but he doesn't have the level of commitment or willingness to spend money to execute them.
