It's well received in this area believe it or not. I've been a Bolts fan since day one.

Im in Jacksonville, and Ive had the Bolts license plate since my first car.. in all those years, I think I've seen maybe 2 others in Jville. More in Tampa of course tho.

The team went from the joke of the league who couldn't even put quality ice down and playing at Tropicana Field to now being one of the class organizations in the NHL.

So the bandwagon jumping is good in Tampa. Too bad they won't support baseball or football unless they are winning. Sounds alot like Seattle.

Actually baseball is the only sport the town doesn't support and the main reason is location, when they move the team to Hillsborough County with a real stadium you'll see more support. The Bucs with as shitty as they've been have always had good attendance numbers. Also keep in mind a high percentage of the people who live here are from somewhere else and refuse to give up their old home teams.

Agreed, and like Bubba was saying the time the Japanese conglomerate owned the team was pretty brutal as well.
