Personally, I don't think that's the case. I actually believe Bubba when he cries poormouth these days. Him liquidating all his personal assets (including the mansion), the default on the 75k personal bank loan, the not paying a livable wage to his off air employees all point to the finances being in the crapper. Plus you gotta think he can't be pulling in that much because of all the sweetheart deals he gave the affiliates. I guess we'll find out come Mizzarch 2018.

A federal judge in Tampa has ruled that a potentially incriminating batch of 10,000 text messages are not entitled to be treated as “confidential-attorney’s eyes only” in Nielsen’s ratings tampering suit against Bubba “The Love Sponge” Clem. The messages were downloaded from the cellphone of Nicholas Tabachuk, the “cooperating panelist” in the case.

The order is a minor victory for Clem’s legal team, which had filed an Emergency Motion asking the court to remove the restrictive designation from the discovery material so it could use the texts when it deposes Tabachuk.
