Yeah same guy. He has a really bad kidney issue. I think he said they were functioning at around 20% a little while back. He's on the waiting list for a transplant.

He seems like a really happy guy though for his situation and he's a trooper showing up every day to entertain the listeners.

My dad had a cancer on one of his kidneys and it was removed. His arthritis medicine destroyed the other one. I wasn't a match. Get well.

I have so much respect and admiration for SBK. Despite his severe health issue, he manages to show up and bring the funny every show. I can't imagine what he's going through, but I'm so fortunate to have him on DGL.

SBK is the man! I couldn't imagine what he is going through but he just keeps a positive attitude and rolls with the punches. I hope he gets the help he needs and we keep hearing him on the air for years to come.
