I had me first ex, who worked for a Dr call the same hospital, and ask them how much for a patient with insurance to get a CAT scan. They said like $400.

I fought them bastards and they finally caved, I payed $400!

I know...my step dad has his own business... Offered to pay double for coverage, but was denied because of a preexisting condition. So he haggles with medical providers and pays a normal amount of money for shit.
