Oh for sure. I'm happy with radioio so far tbh.

I'm not sure how much is involved in using "radio broadcasting tech" to create a digital file that can be streamed, but shoutcast/streaming radio has been around for many many years. The playing live audio over the internets part is dead stupid easy to do.

The only 'hard' part I can really see is from studio to digital file.

It was actually a super-smooth experience, I talked to a screener (who sounded EXACTLY like Dan Diaco, and fucked me up because I launched into my gimmick). Two minutes later I was on. I actually called in from my computer using Skype and podcasting setup so I would sound clear.

I'll have to wait till Saturday to see how it came out.

protip: it's ok to sit down to pee while on hold to maintain concentration to the phone

I called RIGHT before the show started at 10 (on sirius - oldschool days) and waited till - 11:30 or 12:30 to get on....

sometimes bubba seems to take callers in spurts.... if you don't get on in the first go you gotta wait for him to rub another one out
