Fair enough. To Bubba he equates "success" to being syndicated in the big markets and I stated his show is not worthy of being in those markets, that's all. IMO he'll always hover around the 10 market range affiliate wise, with Tampa being his largest. He'll pick up a couple here, lose a few there but he'll never attain the level of success he wants. He had his chance on Sirius and blew it and he now realizes that, but of course it's too late. BTW, how long have you been a fan of the show? I'm asking because I want your opinion. If you've been a fan since the 98Rock/Sirius/early 102.5 days, I wanted to know what you think of the show now compared to back then.
You are now substantially modifying your original theory stated earlier, Cap. Fair enough.
It's probably a good idea to avoid being sucked into the trap of analyzing BTLS' market performance as ALWAYS POOR- no matter what happens. If your theory picks one performance variable such as syndication, then you gotta stick with it. If your theory is right, affiliate growth should be zero. Also, could be negative.
I think affiliate number is a decent market performance measure. Generally, if it goes up, the show is performing well.

OK, I re-read my original comment. Nowhere did I say he won't gain anymore affiliates. I was pointing out why he's not "successful" (his words, not mine). My theory points to (at least imo) how he'll never be bigger than he already is. You still haven't answered my question though, how long have you been a fan of the show?

Cpt., with full awareness of your disdain for me, I still have to say that you are making some strong points.
I know, how many days does he blow off to go to the racetrack?
I'm sure Bubba feels that school is a waste of time for a future NASCAR driver but this is not his choice to make.

Here is your theory. Nothing about "success."
It also clearly implies that there are two BTLS defects which bar more affiliates.
...the reason you haven't been rewarded with more syndication, it's because you're too Florida-centric (which is fine for us in FL) and the show just isn't that good enough anymore, I really think it's that simple, to me it is at least. You should actually be happy you have as many affiliates as you do right now.
Your revised theory is better, Cap. Although it adds some more subjectivity to the mix.

It's Friday, the show is over, you beat me up, I'll give. Uncle!!
I do appreciate the Banter Amigo, but for the love of god, could you please answer my question.

Finally!
Cap, I have been listening to BTLS since around 2000. I did not listen to the Sirius show.
The banter is a positive and useful endeavor for me too, Cap. Argumentation is often better when scrutinized and tested. More interesting too.
You also asked my opinion of the. quality of the show over time. Q has deteriorated. I used to listen intently to most of the show. Now, I pick my spots. I will switch to AM occasionally, and not come back.
