Actually, down here a single guy can survive fairly decently at 30k believe it or not. I mean you won't be living in a mansion, but you won't be living in the ghetto either.

Yep, well no state tax really helps and you used to be able to cite the cost of living being lower, but those days are long gone. A nice three bedroom apt around here goes for almost 1.5 large, whereas you can buy a kickass house for around the same price.

Oh hey RS, The Portillos around here just had a soft opening the other day. I think it officially opens on the 12th. My buddy (who is originally from Chicago) somehow got in even though it was a closed deal and said it is identical food-wise to the one in Chi-town, so I can't wait to go.
