The Diaco's Show with Brian Motroni/Kevin's Law thread.
The Wounded Warrior Project, a charity focused on helping wounded veterans, is coming under scrutiny after former employees told CBS News the organization has been spending millions on lavish parties and travel.
According to CBS News, financial reports show that in 2014 the charity spent more than $26 million on conferences, meetings and events for its staff members. The charity brought in more than $312 million in donations in 2014 and more than $372 million in 2015.
About 40 percent of the money raised in 2014 was spent on the group's overhead, according to Charity Navigator, which rates charitable organizations. That's about $124 million.

The New York Times reports the 40 percent overhead is not as much as some other charity groups, but it far exceeds other veterans charities such as the Semper Fi Fund, which has an overhead of about 8 percent.
