I just make headers out of whatever... they often have no reason other then they worked as a banner

sure - I generally make em 1200x250 or so.

rounded corners are a bonus but not necessary.

cool i just saved the banner you had up top and erased it so i figured it would have the same size. But thats cool ill make them like that and round any corner i see
