I really do like Foo Fighters, but I actually really admire his other stuff like Probot, the Songs for the Deaf album with QOTSA, Them Crooked Vulture etc. and his producing gigs and that's what I think brings him to another level above "the guy from Foo Fighters."

Dave Grohl can't be considered "mediocre" by any stretch of the imagination just for how goddamn prolific he is.
