That part I understand, what part I don't is, if this is true, then Bubba is to blame and should be forced to pay them back as well. How would Cox know he was cheating, he's not in their studios and was an independent contractor. So to me, all the blame would be his.

You gotta admit, the ppm buying allegation is a good one, it's hard to make shit up like that...

I'm with you on this one. I think there is definitely more to this story. That seems like something you wouldn't/couldn't make up. How the hell would you even know who has a ppm, let alone offer to buy it, Unless you had an iggy from a mark *cough* Dr. McSherry *cough*?

Well, Cox is liable for anything their talent does. Bubba may have been contracted, but the advertisers bought Cox ad time, not Bubba.

One thing though, if Arbitron is anything like has been said over the years, they will take this shit seriously.

Excellent question. Here's my theory...He offered SBK slightly more than he is making now (which is probably dogpiss Jones if I were to wager a guess), knowing SBK would turn it down and could then use it as a bargaining chip against Cox now, purely to cost them more money knowing full well he'd never hire him.

I was thinking that too, all I could think of is maybe you could tune it for a certain speed to put off a particular frequency sound wave.
