I listen to Carolla's podcast. He has an outlook and perspective like nobody you've ever heard. But I could see it getting on your nerves.

i always thought he was really good on loveline..

i used to listen on sunday nights, when i was driving home from my old man's.

i'd time it to where i got to hear the whole show, during my drive...

& i thought dude was pretty fucken funny.

And do you think this will be worth $12.99 a month? I was hoping for about $5. I just don't know about $12.99.

If I had to venture a guess, the $12.99 would be for the all access package with the archives/BubbaRaw/etc. Maybe the $9.99 will be for the streams. But it seems as though they don't even know yet.

I think combining that with a bubbaraw for 12.99 would have me signed up. I gotta agree though - 12.99 is a little stiff IMO

I still need an alternate to FM, so I'm looking at keeping sirius - so I gotta budget in this IO somehow.

He keeps coming up with ideas for subs, but nothing concrete, like what will current Raw subscribers get. I know he said maybe half off, but that would still end up costing more as opposed to canceling Raw and getting the IO, if indeed Raw is included!!

I've scoped out the Bubba music channels and here are my impressions...
Bubba's channel is the best of the five. Very in tune with my tastes, but we're about the same age and have a similar background growing up in the midwest.
Brent's channel is second, though a little too heavy metal for me. Some obscure stuff there.
Ned's channel is third. Middle of the road type stuff.
Manson's channel barely listenable.
Spice Boy's channel worthless and pussied up to the extreme. But he's a young kid, I expect young kids to be pussies.

Bubba's was surprisingly good IMO and Brent's was probably my favorite. Ned's is alright and I'd never listen to the stuff on Manson or Spice's channels. But they add much need variety.

but it's all good - I can't stand bubba's music selections most of the time

in all reality I probably like 25's music selection the best and wanna see him get an IO station. You could break up the station by rotating the crew in the back's picks... the jab hour, hammil hour etc...
