I'm done with Sirius, no matter what. I don't need it for music. I'll miss Howie somewhat. I'm signing for IO. I'll have to wait 'til Mar 1 to do it for a year, I can't afford the 3 year deal, but it's a better deal for me.
      What the fuck, Nerdboy?

signed up for my ioIO account at about 12:15 est. on Feb 1st.

most of my time will be spent listening via my Droid1/aux cable in my blazer.

also have the ioIO app on two laptops with no issues

I'm gonna get one of these.
The Whole House FM Transmitter 3.0 broadcasts a static free signal 150 feet in any direction. Compatible with most audio sources like SiriusXM Radios, iPods, iPhones, MP3 players and computers. You will love the ability to broadcast your favorite music and audio sources to any FM radio. Integrates seamlessly with home and car stereos. The WHT 3.0 is about the same size of a deck of playing cards and fits in the palm of your hand, pocket or on your desk. The shell is cast from a stronger plastic polymer to help safeguard against accidental drops, and is held together by four screw fasteners protecting sensitive components. New removable 6.5” SMA helical antenna features a conducting wire wound tightly in the shape of helix, increasing efficiency without increasing your antenna size. The helical antenna will broadcast a clear signal up to 150 feet. Use the all new Whole House FM Transmitter 3.0 at any location or anywhere you need it to broadcast your favorite audio sources. Power it with 3 “AA” batteries, 12/24V car utility adapter, USB power cable and 110/220 V wall adapter. Simplified controls and larger screen (1.47 x 1.34 x 1.10″) make it easier to use and easier to read. The blue back-lit screen makes the selected FM frequency more visible in low-light conditions. The mute button once housed on the volume control and is now on the face of the 3.0. Mechanical Power On/Off Switch Mechanical power switch stays on even when you suffer a power outage. The transmitter will turn on and return to the set frequency when power comes back on. Plus, it won’t drain the batteries like an electrical switch when powered off. Stereo/Mono Selection Choose between which mode you want to broadcast your audio. Listen to your music and other audio in true stereo format with the right and left channels. While mono broadcasts the audio signal further when needed. Separate Line In and Microphone Volume Control The line in volume and the microphone have separate volume controls. Turn up the volume on the mic while reducing the volume of the audio with a press of a button. Great for fitness instructors, Christmas displays, or karaoke. 3 Pre-set Frequency Buttons Just tune the FM Transmitter to a frequency, hold the button in for three seconds and the WHT 3.0 instantly stores your favorite frequencies. Perfect for in-car use! Clip onto your belt or pocket for better mobility, now you can move around with your transmitter and take anywhere. This is perfect for outdoor fitness instructors and tour guides who integrate the WHT 3.0 in their daily professions.   Also included: RCA Stereo Audio Cable 3.5mm Stereo audio adapter stereo audio Y cable USB Power Cable Wall Adapter Car utility adatper Belt clip Removable 6.5” SMA helical antenna

Hook it up to the laptop so I can listen on the radios around the house.

Where I live I'm basically screwed for internet, all I can get is dial up, so I use my Rogers phone (blackberry) to tether to my computers to get 3g service....it's ok but it's capped at 6 megs...for the month, overages are a killer with Canadian cell phone providers so until I move it is what it is...never ever got the show on the blackberry here, others have reported the same, regular IO comes in though.

I finally got off my lazy butt and signed up for the $129.99/year plan today. It's good to see them populating the archive downloads, but I was surprised to see they aren't putting up the CURRENT shows yet. Must... be... patient...

BTW, I'm "qapete" on radioio.com, in case they ever get the social thing together over there.

I'm in a bit of heaven right now. Listening to Ned Radio (instead of the AM replay) and downloading yesterday's uncensored show.
