What started as replacing a few thousand bleacher seats turned into a complete overhaul. Bleachers turned into artificial turf, which soon turned to locker rooms, concession stands and restrooms.

Two years after first talking about replacing the rotting bleachers, Louisville will open the gates to a new $3.4 million Louisville Leopards Stadium. The Leopards will play Ravenna on Friday night in the home opener.
