Dave Rice was being his usual sarcastic self instead of gushing at the new studios.
Bubba is very thin skinned.
This is getting tiring, I like Bubba, and I think he can be very heartfelt at times. But honestly, I can't believe that a grown ass man, with his type of job, and his track record of ripping people apart on air, from celebrities and other public figures, to several members of this site and friends of ours on other sites that don't have the same "bully pulpit," actually gets upset over ball busting on a show he describes as ball busting.
He has something else bothering him and he's taking it out on his guys. And I bet a lot of that has to do with a perceived lack of appreciation from the audience, FM Radio, Sirius XM, TV, and god knows who else. And he may have a point as far as those parties are concerned, but no one can have a deeper and more meaningful appreciation for him, than the men and that sit in that studio with him.
It goes back to that whole archetype of the entertainer/comedian/radio host who rips everyone apart, but deep down inside is one of the most insecure, seemingly thin skinned people you'll ever meet. Bubba is not the only one. I can understand, after people tear you down enough I can see where you'd start to believe what they tell you.
