Good Afternoon Everyone,
My last comments were posted about 5 days ago, and since that time my wife and I have had some very difficult but necessary discussions. We have reviewed our marriage as concerns why we initially got married, how our last 11+yrs have been, and what our future is. The initial comments about the frequency of my time on twitter were not the actual problem, but were the catalyst to review where we were and where we were going. In the past I stated that she hates Bubba, but in reality hate is an incredible understatement. She feels such a seething anger about him that might only be surpassed by murderers and child molesters. This is due to the selected topics for the show, and what is being presented for entertainment (objectifying of women, mocking of the handicapped and basically finding pleasure in the discomfort of others). As a result, she has those same feelings about all those that are entertained by him, as our support is reinforcing these topics that should not be considered funny. This doesn’t only apply to all of you that I have spoken to for the past 6 months on twitter, but it also applies to me. She no longer likes the person that I am becoming, as “DUB” is not the same person that I am in real life. Although she has not made an ultimatum on me, the fact that I have become so distant in understanding how I have changed, and how it has negatively impacted our marriage, I do need to make a decision – is it my wife or the Bubba Army. It was different when I was just listening to the radio and laughing, as there was no interaction, but being on twitter with people of similar interests caused me to get so involved that I could no longer identify when things were changing. Instead of just listening, we continued to carry on with the same types of discussions that Bubba would have, and it was slowly starting to change the person I was, the person my wife married, into someone that I wouldn’t be if you met me face to face. And when it is finally the appropriate time to return to twitter, it will be when both of us are ready to be here together.

is it possible for me to meet him on twitter and call him a fag and he will get it ? the guy put his marriage at risk for bubba and twitter, then had to have a conversation about twitter with his wife, then had to write that big huge letter to twitter about how big of a fag he is and has to choose then to top it off his wife is holding his balls in her purse and he is giving up any chance he ever had of being a man ever again.
