For the most part, that aint allowed here. Either you are on vacation, or on hours. Even people that want to work and get paid for vaca hours they will lose.

Either take vaca, or lose the hours. But if this doesn't get done it is on you!! Pretty fucked up, but that's how it is.

They LOVE it up here - cause most places don't have extra staff - and they have to bring in extra help to fill in your spot - which can be a pain in the ass in some industries - you ever have some asshole temp for a day on a construction job?

the sirius sub's are the #1 most likely to buy IO - they have already established a trend in purchasing subscription services - it's not rocket science...

people who are happy with a free service are not gonna switch just for one show - some might but not the vast majority

pretty much yeah, everyone i talk to either has sirius already or says they are not paying for free shit. so they are sure as fuck not gonna pay for internet radio, when they already have to pay for the internet and there are 1000's of free internet radio choices and you know sure as fuck hanky and all the rest of us will find ways and places to get it for nothing.

Yeah Simon, that's what we talked about the other day. He says he has 6 weeks vaca. So for Sirius does that mean he gets 30 Fridays off since he really only works one day a week?? Seems so. Sure has missed a hell of a lot more than 6 Fridays already.

same with bubba on FM - I can't get that in my car.... online only - so your cutting out a HUGE portion of potential listeners that are on the road and have no way to listen

BUT - if you take a holiday in a week there is a statutory holiday - then the person gets an additional friday off

All in how to fuck the average Joe!! The only way someone could come in to do my job is in an emergency for a specific issue. I am basically on call even when on vaca. I have another guy that does the same as me, but he doesn't know all the shit I do on some systems, just like I don't know all the shit he does on some systems.

Aint no way a call in could do either. We've had people at work that lost vaca hours because they were on deadline and couldn't take days off. BULLSHIT fo sho!!

i am not paying for shit. i personally will wait for wait for hanky to show up with the link to the free show. of course he will do it under the guise of wanting the show to fail, but we all know he is just passing off the goodness he loves.
