Toyota "design a car" gimmick just got a plug on Nascar Live.

"Gimmick" is right!! With their rules, more than half the entries don't qualify!!

And it doesn't seem Bubba get's it yet.

@BTLSRadio I think we are going to run into trademark problems on our car entry. Either you or Brent need to look at official entry rules.

It isn't getting a permission slip that is the issue. The rules say all graphics must have been created by the person submitting the entry, not that you have to have permission.

Also, it may not contain any other brand names business trademarks other than Toyota, which they allow only for this contest. Bubba The Love Sponge is a trademarked written item on the car.

Yet Bubba says Brent is working with Toyota and they are cool so far. They may be cool about it, but I still don't think it will matter.
