Also, I don't get how ratings can be a "rollercoaster." Radio audiences don't change their habits so quickly. It seems to vary wildly from one group of diaries to the next.

Seems to be the reality of the PPM and who happens to be carrying one in any particular month.

Plus it detects signals nearby, which is a sketchy way of doing things. Just because someone is in range of something doesn't mean they're actively listening.
