He's had about 2 and a half weeks off this year so far. And FM in 2008 gave him more time off than Sirius, so it actually works out better for the FM listeners.

I seriously don't get why people get so angry around around vacations. It's easy enough to find other shit to do/watch/listen to.

Chob, I don't think it's the fact he takes vaca. It is more the way he does it. Like fuck the fans, they need me more than I need them. At least that's how he comes off. Especially 2 weeks ago. On Wed he said he was flying out after the sat show, then you only find out there is no live show when it starts.

To me that isn't how a business treats it's customers. But he don't see it that way. So fuck it.

Once you come to terms with the fact he only truly cares if a select few fans stick around, like his Special Forces, and doesn't care who tunes out, you'll enjoy the show a lot more. He's a businessman who lulls you into a false sense of being a sort of friend of his. Nothing wrong with that, but it burns quite a few people now and then.

I guess, if he thinks those select few can keep him afloat. We'll see I guess. But it's not so much lull into being a friend, it's more just how more and more he could care less if he has any fans, except those few.

IMO is marginalizing more and more of his audience. Be it on purpose or not, I don't see how it can be good in a media fan based business.

if I was about to be leaving sirius - like he makes it out to be - then do you think it's so smart to be shitting all over the last remaining fans that would buy this new "internet" show? I'd be pandering as much as I could to them so I didn't fail when i left sirius.

Coast 2 coast offers the biggest archive of old show's you've ever seen - bubba doesn't even have his old tapes...
