A company with a few employees and one that is global is apples and oranges. In fact I bet the smaller companies have better benefits because the owner wants decent ones and is in the group.

Minimum wage is only $7.25 now, it was $4.25 when I started working back in the early 90's. Now that is shitty, maybe raise them up to $10, but that's it.

I was paid $4.10 to cook at a restaurant, in 1986. I had to work to pay my folks to continue to live under the roof. It sucked but now I understand it and I don't have the poor me's.

My mother charged me "rent" when I worked while under her roof. It sucked, but I understood why she did it.
