Not really. It doesn't change the dimensions like a seracoat or powder coat. Much more like weight and has characteristics of diamond properties. Hence the name DLC-Diamond Like Coating.

Again I say, DLC is the superior coat. Cera is a strong second though. It may come down to cost, not sure.
