Remember how total shit Kia and Hyundai were? I remember when Hyundai first came out, like in 88-89 I had a soldier under me that bought one and man did he get ripped off. he was paying almost $400 a month and paid like $26G for this piece of shit. I was always having to deal with his financial issues.
Yeah when they first came out they were disposable cars. Nowadays they have both stepped up their games. I love my wife's 09 Sonata and we'll probably trade it in for a Genesis sedan when the time comes. We've had the car since Aug 08 and the only thing that has broke was a $5 brake light sensor and the driver sunvisor. Plus it gets 35mpg on reg gas, and we paid it off three years early

If you were into tattoos or leather shit, helluva place. My buddy got me a leather jacket with a huge Tallica emblem embroidered on the back..hand sewn. And as you know, all kinds of dudes got tats that were actually pretty damn good quality. One dude said he traded like a 3 piece KFC meal for a bad ass bulldog tat.
I'm just so glad I don't have to drive 26 miles to work everyday. About $300 a month for gas and my truck should last for years not putting miles on it.

Yeah the clothes were top notch for sure. I never saw any tattoo deals, but I was at the smallest base on the peninsula and that probably played into it.

Yeah I'm lucky I live close to work. I only put on less than 6k miles per year and its a lot less now because of my work from home schedule.
