I have no problem with that. I'll even say up to 15 items is fine, it's when you have a full cart is when I take umbrage.Originally posted by Chob View PostWhat if there's no one else in line and you're a few items over?
Also I see no problem with reading a magazine at the drug store if you're waiting for something. The book stores are a different story.Originally posted by Drew GaraboCpt., with full awareness of your disdain for me, I still have to say that you are making some strong points.

Me too. I miss the nearby Borders so much. That place was chill. The B&N here always seems much more crowded. And as far as comics go I usually stock up every few months from InStockTrades. But it's fun to go and walk around the place just browsing.Originally posted by Cpt. Mcgillicutty View PostI'm a dinosaur I guess, because I actually like going to the bookstore to buy books.

My youngest is getting psyched up for free comic day next weekend. The local shop around here is doing all kinds of giveaways and cosplay contests. The grand prize they are doing is pretty bad ass. It's about 6 foot tall full of resin statues, action figures, comics, Dr. Who stuff, Walking Dead funkos, etc. It's probably valued somewhere near $1,000 I would bet. It's a small mom and pop operation but they are a cool store and we try to stop in there at least twice a month and drop a few bucks.Originally posted by Chob View PostMe too.
