I did work a crap load of OT the last two weeks so it's over half paid already. But I have my oldest's B-day coming in a week and that's $300 and then again in early July for my youngest. Plus my wife's b-day at the end of June so those are big dents to the ole savings account. If I can find a great DL on CL I'll probably jump on it.

No Jim, in the military you only carry a weapon if you are on duty as an MP or doing a job where it is required at that time, but in general no, you don't just walk around base with your weapon. Oh and a .45 is not a military issued weapon. The standard sidearm is the Beretta M9 9mm.
