That is why you use multicast!! You only have one stream. High quality video is only 384 K, the best is like 768k. Audio is much lower.

I'm more talking about having his own internet radio station!! uncut, uncensored, live or replay. You don't download it, you listen to it. Or you could offer it for download!!

and high quality video is compressed to fuck over the internet

even satellite TV has HUGE compression on it

HDTV looks the best on those antena's now - dead serious - I wouldn't believe it but I have seen it side by side on the same tv... satellite HDTV looked like ass compared to free HD Antena

Well that's you. I have a 15-20 MB connection. At work we have an 80M and a 30M backup connection!! You could have a hell of a lot of channels on that type of circuit.

Right now I bet Bubba has a split T-1. 7 channels for voice, and the rest for internet/data.

well if they offer it in a stream - it will sound just like sirius does today... you could maybe build in a feature that allows quality of stream selection like some webtv players do...

if they can afford the stones

but offering a podcast is your best alternative for quality - as long as they don't compress the quality of the mp3 or aiff (which it should be - or some other lossless format IMO)

but that doesn't help anyone living in rural america on dial up - or satellite - or even people on regular cable and DSL as they can run slow - depending on what package you buy

But then you couldn't have a real fan base that can listen real time at the same time, like we do now.

We have cable TV to our desktops at work, well at least us in IT do!!

                            • On another note, MS came out with a fix to run XP mode on Windows 7 systems for those who's hardware doesn't support virtualization!!!
