Carl and Rick, while not some magic exact copy of the comics, are about as damned close as I could possibly expect. I had concerns in season 1 about some of the picks but I really think they've cast some great people. Michonne, which I thought was going to be hell to cast, has been doing an EXCELLENT job in her role. Certainly have to give them credit when it comes to filling those shoes. That can't be easy with such established characters.Originally posted by Chob View PostThe good thing about TWD is that the performances, execution of the concept and atmosphere help make up for some of the shittier writing.
Obviously with it being a television show geared to a much wider audience no one can expect them to be 100% but they've gone way further than I expected. Especially with the breakdown and rebuilding of Rick.

Foreshadowing. Me and my wife were talking about that last episode. They are sitting ducks in that prison... Anywhere for that matter. It seems you can only stay put so long until those walkers nuff you out and it's time to move again. Plus that prison is mad old, it's not a super-max.Originally posted by SJ View PostAlso if you notice the graphic for the walking dead on amc - the fence is in shatters behind Rick as if it's already been taken down...
not sure if that's foreshadowing or a lazy graphics departmentOriginally posted by SJI say stupid shit
