Last nights episode dude. Cut to the sick kid at the end who died and then became a walker. The prison is contaminated, all of those spent rounds, rounds period leaching heavy metals into the ground for god knows how many decades. I mean that prison is old, look at the design. All of the food they've been growing is tainted and as people croak, walker overload. They're going to leave the prison for two reasons: the contamination, and the diminished security. Mischonne will find a new place near that town she mentioned. They'll lose 50% of their crew during the move.

        Sounds about right.

I think someone on the inside is baiting the walkers, hence the rat, and trying to infect others to thin the herd. Perhaps someone found a way to speed up the infection like in that kid.

I was thinking the same. Last night was lack luster, but it layed the groundwork for something good if they execute it properly.

I respectfully disagree. The raining zombies was corny (but awesome) but it was character driven without getting too dull. The "we don't give them names" from Carl felt hamfisted, but it's forgivable.

I can see why you'd disagree though. I think Scott Gimple is the right guy for the job after hearing him on Talking Dead. He sounds like he has a great season planned.

                Agreed doctor.

Well I've learned one thing today

That fox says a lot of weird shit

The other animals must be like - "wtf(ox) is wrong with this fox? He's making some weird ass noises over there. Must be a Little John Fan"

I also think the infected crops thing is likely, but why would the disease discriminate between who gets violently ill and who doesn't? If it only kills non essential characters for some reason, that's hack writing.

The major characters seem to be eating from meats sources so far that I've noticed... Still I can see your point.

                            there's only two essential characters

                            rick and carl

That's how it was written. People keep forgetting and think the other characters aren't expendable. They're all expendable and will go at some point.

Plus you've gotta keep that water supply in mind.
