wouldn't know - I'm catching up on stern cause - well.. I already heard all this bubba stuff - it's time for some real best of bubba specials and time for sirius to stop being such a lazy ass company.

surely part of my 14.95 a month could go to one measly editor for bubba?

    • then again - maybe howard is trying to keep the other shows down..

cause if he wanted it - it would be happening... so maybe howard is a little scared of some of the other shows getting the same royal treatment as him

It wouldn't be that hard. They could do the Sirius Best of shows in the same sitting, just swap out some FM segments for Sirius XM segments.

except sirius won't edit shit, unless it's for howard

such a weird company.. lets promote one guy - just one - and when our company starts to fail, we'll only have him to blame? Is that Sirius' logic here? I just don't get it...

          • cause the subscribers aren't gonna blame howard for the rest of the channels having shit for content..

yet they do nothing special for them.. fucking screwy if you ask me.
(just look at the giveaways for that contest - not ONE thing to do with stern - yet he's the only thing worth entering the competition for - I didn't even know who half the other people were - Help Madd Dogg with a live contest? Are they fucking serious? WGAF?)

Well, it gets even weirder if you take into account what happened to O&A.

They were apparently told by higher ups that they no longer wanted full shows replayed on weekends and pretty much mandated "best of" shows to be made. So there's an instance where they took an active interest in what's going on with replays of a show that isn't Stern's.

There's a very simple reason that Bubba's show is never thought about much at that company. He's outshined and overshadowed by HOWARD STERN, the radio legend and the guy helping the company stay afloat.

And while you think they'd pay a little more attention since it's programming on one of his channels, they probably figure as long as Howard's there they don't need to give a shit about anyone else.

                      sadly that makes perfect sense...

and strengthens my belief that bubba needs to get the fuck off 101 and away from Big Daddy Stern..

he needs to be on 108, leading that channel all on his own

I've said that for a while. I think come this time next year it could be a possibility.

Bubba was open to the idea, as he was to a live midday show. And it was Sirius XM that lacked the vision to make it happen.

                        • and would it kill sirius to drop 16 of their 28 sports channels? (and I mean the general ones - not the sport specific ones)

well they were too busy working in Rosies free submarine sandwiches for her and all her staff every lunch instead of worrying about Bubba
