No, its not contamination. Did you read the story? Its missing anchovies on the list of ingredients.
More than 12,000 pounds of chicken dip products have been recalled due to misbranding and an undeclared allergen.
The products, produced by Hollywood, Fla.-based ECRS, LLC, were sold at grocery stores in Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Missouri, and Ohio, and through internet and catalog sales. The plant started using a dressing containing anchovies, which were not disclosed on the product labels.
