, surprisingly this time not. My youngest is moving back to Tallahassee to go to school again..so sure that will come again. But he works his butt off for his friends dad, so maybe not.

Let me preface this with it's not a fight, I love everyone on here. But I didn't demonize weed, I don't really have a problem with it; but when you're a parent you need to rise to the occasion and elevate yourself to your responabilites. I whole- heartedly agree with you about the other substance abuse out there but that wasn't the topic of discussion. Whether something is legal or not has no bearing on my disdain for parents who don't put their children first. It's simple developmental psychology Dan, and being a psychology major I know what I'm talking about. Smoke your weed people, but don't bitch about the consequences later. Again, no offense .

I just don't think you have any real concept on what you're talking about here. There is no part of someone smoking that somehow instantly makes them not put their kids first. Of course people should put their kids first, I never suggested otherwise.

In fact if you know ANYTHING about me at all you'll know that I'm all for people doing their fucking jobs instead of being such pussies in ALL walks of life, not just parenting.

Though I have to take issue with you suggesting someone who uses marijuana is somehow teaching their child anything at all unless they are throwing it in the child's face, or being wasted around them. By merely ingesting the plant one doesn't somehow change their parenting at all, you can claim to understand psychology all you want, but if that is what you really think you need to do more studying of the real world, and less studying of books.

That's pretty much all there is to do. Did the same, took my sis and nieces to RS Sr's, took him lunch. Guess it's different when you get older.

Not to mention it's just a bullshit Hallmark holiday. Thanks Obama.
