Shannon Burke's ex-wife files suit, alleging assault and battery

The wife who forgave and took back radio personality Shannon Burke after he shot her in the head, the same woman who dug into her pocket and paid for radio air time so he could revive his moribund career on Monday sued him, accusing him of intentionally shooting her.

Catherine A. Crossman, formerly Catherine Burke, is asking for unspecified but triple damages.

The couple divorced two years ago.

The reporter isn't biased at all. Not one bit. The tidbit about paying for air time is totally relevant and Shannon was totally trying to shoot that dog.

If this is true, it does put a whole new spin on it being an alleged "accident" don't ya think?:
