they wouldn't let me buy it... it was within my price range and was in good shape. Car ran fine...
I said - this is a good investment trust me. (the car was like 3,500 and this was just before the fast n furious movies) 2 years later the guy who did buy the car flipped it for an 8 grand profit and did 0.0 to the car
Shitty, I almost bought a 1970 Z/28 back in 1992. I talked to the guy out in rural Lutz, test drove it, went to the bank to get the cash, came back and the car was sold an important lesson was learned that day...always have cash in hand when going to look at something, but I was 16 and had no idea.

see that's when you go back and tell the guy you were prepared to go almost twice his asking price
