Yeah, people's initial reactions to that song crack me up. I first knew DAC through Rebel Meets Rebel so that one came as a shock.

What sucks is that Coe is an outlaw country institution and the perfect counterpoint to the type of pop country that rules the landscape today. And had Rebel Meets Rebel actually toured and been a full blown band, I think it could've been a huge crossover act.

But that song, even if he says that the song was written as a joke on the main character, mocking him for being pathetic, is not going to go over well with most people for good reason.

RMR was still a kick ass project though.
