Drew Garabo "In Your Face" Listening Thread - March
And I guess he's now allowed to confirm he's on that St. Louis lineup. Cool to see another hot talker start up. I would like to see Spice get on that station. Drew too but neither one of them seem that concerned with syndication at the moment.
I haven't heard it either, do I get jobbed out bad? Maybe someone on the board could post the sound byte from the podcast, it happened right around 1:05pm
Thanks Chob, you the man, and yeah I think you know me well enough to know that I used the term "flabbergasted" as a half rib. I'm stoked it got read on the show and his response was very cool, probably why I love his show.

Cpt., with full awareness of your disdain for me, I still have to say that you are making some strong points.

Do people actually listen to sports talk for several hours throughout the day? According to the ratings for that CBS sports station in Tampa, they don't.

When I used to be self employed I listened to Jim Rome everyday from 12-3, his callers are some of the best, if you like smack talking sports callers (which I do), but there is nothing worse than local sports talk radio. Rome has a running joke about every station is either called "The Fan", "The Ticket" or something stupid like that. It was also good radio anytime Jay Mohr filled in for him.

I mean besides the big guns like Rome. An entire day filled with that kind of thing doesn't seem like it would hold people for as long throughout the day as a lineup like the Bone's would I'd imagine. But then again, I may not have the best perspective because the worst rated station in this area is a Fox Sports station and no one gives a shit.
