i just realized they finally stopped calling although i did get a phone call today from a number that was just 888-888-8888 witch was weird

No happens all the time..telemarketers set phone numbers like..and some bill collectors. For instance, I could set any number I want for outbound calls at work. Exactly what they do.

Robo callers..takes em a while to get the call sometimes, if at all. But their system does record someone answered, they will call back.

And I meant, I can set the caller id as anything I want going out at work. on some circuits. It is a service on business lines. Intended reason is like say I have an office in Chicago, but I don't want people getting that number and calling it, I want them to call our 800 number or our biz line in another state.

but as usual, these scum scam fucks abuse it to hide their numbers, especially since the do not call list came out, which is a flop anyhow. It takes to much to research where the call came from without a real reason, like a police invest.
