Better than I would have done. I would have started talkin shit about how Bubba is a shell of his former self, has no motivation, and only has number 1 ratings because he has no comp. And then started in on him!

Ask Tuddle how that worked out for him. I did just see that Tudds is trying to Tuddle his way back on the bone and I hope he does come back.

Shannon's a great broadcaster, but can you blame Cox for being a little hesitant in the least about his past? Like I said not a knock on Shannon he is a very talented dude.

I had a long winded post about it in the Drew thread about how it's unfortunate that people still associate him with that, but he does himself no favors engaging in this petty bullshit. It just makes everyone at Cox more likely to not want to work with him.

And I agree with Cpt. about Bubba mentoring them. It may sound like an odd comparison, but Bubba is doing to them what Howard pretty much did to O&A being that they were fans of his and were inspired by his show, and Howard did everything he could to bury the new guys. Unlike O&A, Billy and crew are the type to remain respectful of Bubba despite how much he shits on them.

Actually what he said was that they "weren't working" in Tampa and Jacksonville, but prior he said the ratings were great across the board on the Bone except for Spice. So he contradicted himself. Bubba says they aren't doing well in Jacksonville so who knows.

The only reason they "don't work" in Tampa, is because Bubba thinks they don't fit in. And ratings, listeners, and corporate be damned, what he says is gospel. And Shark isn't bowing down at his superior radio knowledge.

I know people here like to give her shit for her on air persona, and I totally get it, but I gained respect for Tara for completely shutting up during the segment and not getting involved in the pile on. Even before the McDonald's promo thing, Tara has had nice things to say about the BMS crew. She's a class act and it keeps me from ragging on her too much when she cheeses it up. She seems like a genuinely nice person and seems to want to be friendly to everyone, unfortunately that could get her eaten alive in the business she's chosen to enter.

Burke's show just isn't the same without Colin. I like Shannon and Rick but there just isn't any way to replace a guy like Colin.

I personally have nuthin against Tara, she does seem like a genuinely great person. But she fuckin sucks on the show, and that is how I will judge her..and only that! Well, other than she is a beast and people call her hot!
