hmmm, pretty cool, they were just showing on teevee this Iraq vet that got a double arm transplant..appears to be accepting so far. Kid lost both arms and legs, talk about suck.
I would think an older jury would be like..boys, STFU, it is name calling, sticks and stones boys, play nice.
Or it could be the other way. My mother and mother in law are both in their mid-late 50's and both hate Bubba based on prior biases. I've talked to some women at work and not one has a good thing to say about the sponge, a lot don't even know who he is

Cpt., with full awareness of your disdain for me, I still have to say that you are making some strong points.

I saw that at the gym today at lunch. They said the surgery was a success and he already has some feeling and has been doing extensive hand therapy since late December. It's good to see stories like this, plus he's from my old hometown of Staten Island, NY, so I'm of course rooting for him.

Well, true, but they should have weeded out those that already had a negative view of him. For the ones that don't know much about him or nothing at all, I would think they would think this whole thing is fuckin stoopid. Hell, even people that despise Bubba would have to think that.
That is cool..seems he will have fully functioning arms for the most part. That is great advancement in transplants.
This guy has been through a lot. He got blow'd up and lost all his limbs, had a house built by a charity group in Staten Island that was subsequently damaged by Hurricane Sandy (It's being repaired right now). Hopefully things keep turning around for him.
