I have a question that maybe someone could help with about this forum.
Sometimes the forum updates itself when a new post is added, other times i have to refresh to see them. Is there a setting that i could use for the forum to automatically show the newer posts without refreshing?

Sometimes the forum updates itself when a new post is added, other times i have to refresh to see them. Is there a setting that i could use for the forum to automatically show the newer posts without refreshing?

The site does it automatically, but sometimes it times out if you've been on the page a certain amount of time, lost your connection to the internet briefly, or just doesn't update for various reasons. It's a hack and not part of the software itself, so it doesn't work perfectly.

when the thread is auto updating, you have to stay active in the thread... by posting or reloading a page once in a while... it has a timeout.

As long as you stay "active" the auto update will keep updating. (any thread with a "livetopic" icon)

Also - what browser and version are you using? Some versions of FF don't like the code and will just fuck up the loading of new posts
