Yeah, then ur kid hits 13 or whatever, goes to her friends, or on their friends smartphone, you can't stop it man. IF you don't instill in them the right in wrong of life period, you won't stop them from doing shit.

OR, if you just have a fucked up kid, (ahem, my wifes daughter) it doesn't matter what you do.

If my kid is fucked enough to run over to her friends house to borrow her friends phone to get on facebook, I've fucked up somewhere along the line and the pedo on twitter asking for pics is the least of her problems.

Obviously we're not disagreeing here milk, I'm just pushing parental responsibility a lot harder. People need to actually PARENT their kids.

I was talking about a lot more than just sex offenders there though. Things like terrorist watch lists and other stupid nonsense that can restrict free citizens who've done nothing wrong from going about their lives in a manner deemed legal bother me. I know, I'm r-worded like that.

Well, IMO it depends. For the most part yes, I agree. What they have done with all of their knee jerk decision/law making in all kinds of aspects of our lives, have affected way more people than it has stopped any fuckin crimes or attacks.

However, if there is solid evidence of someone plotting to bomb shit, shoot people, molest kids, rape chicks, rob banks, whatever the fuck..I have no issue with putting a microscope up their ass however they need to.

It is a fine line though.

Again, you catch a guy fucking a kid? That isn't a lets take this to trial thing to me, you kill the fucker right there. If anything we're too weak on such crimes, years in jail and therapy sadly doesn't "fix" pedophiles. That isn't something you just undo.

I wholeheartedly agree with that. Our country is completely turned into a zero responsibility, dependent place almost overnight. It is now the govs responsibility to raise kids for these worthless fucks while they get paid for it. That is their attitude.

Then when their kid kills someone they blame the gov for not raising their kid right and not giving them enough money to do it themselves.

Yeah, that may seem a little overblown..but it is pretty much where we are at IMO.
