Now I'm picturing Drew shouting "WHERE'S THE TRIGGER? WHERE IS IT? YOU WOULDN'T GIVE IT TO AN ORDINARY CITIZEN!" while wearing those. I have issues.

Listening back, I'm glad Drew isn't a douchebag about wrestling like some people on here (but enough about "sweaty guys in spandex rolling around," a line every other swinging dick on the planet makes to imply homosexuality) but I'd have weighed in with the point that the reason people like wrestling, is a major part of why people like shows like his, or more so Bubba and everyone else on The Bone, except maybe Nick and Artie and Loveline. The drama. The same reason people watch movies or any other form of narrative entertainment. To get caught up in a story. And some pretty great displays of athleticism used to tell that story sweetens the deal. I really don't get why it's such a difficult concept for people to grasp, but like I said earlier, there's no explaining it.

Drew cutting a promo on a caller is satisfying in the same way a good wrestling promo is. Even more so because of the more improvised nature of it and the fact the caller isn't in on it.

Also, MMA has sweaty guys in tights. You never hear a peep from those people about MMA.
