streaming audio in-car is an awesome idea, but unlimited data isn't really unlimited because you will eventually get throttled (i'm unlimited on AT&T and regularly burn about 6gb/mo. I always get a text from AT&T saying that I have used a shit ton of data and I might start to experience slower speeds).

the internet should be free anyway (and it is in some lucky places!). The city where my condo is at in Kirkland has free WiFi which is nice.

Why should the internet be free? Should cable teevee be free also? Because I work and pay all my bills..I have cable...should my neighbor who is a lazy fuck and doesn't WANT to work also get cable/HBO etc?

I don't think cable should be free at all, regular tv is free and that's fine.

Maybe if there was a basic free internet service (just like there is a basic free tv service) with the option to have enhanced/higher speed as a paid service, that would be reasonable.

I'm always using data and I'm averaging about 2GB/mo. Fortunately I get to use WiFi quite a bit.

I've gotten as high as 53mb/down back in Kirkland. It'll usually hover around 15-20mb down depending where I am and how wired that town/city is.
