This was my issue when the concept of this show first came up. It's hard to be critical and fair when the guy you're talking about just gave you the VIP treatment. So I think I have to give credit to Stern's roundtable for one thing, the panels don't meet Stern and aren't intimidated/star struck by his presence.

When the concept for this show first came up, Spice was hesitant about it. And for good reason. He knew that if you don't have any conflict, or at the very least dissent/disagreement, it won't make for compelling content as far as a lot of people are concerned. For what it is, I think this show has had it's moments. But it could be a lot more interesting if they opened the conversation up, discussed things with callers, etc.

You have to remember though that Bubba doesn't like conflict *against* him. He only likes causing conflict.
