It is funny-apparently the Iranian pilots fired twice at the drone and missed. Then the Iranians come out with a statement like "this shows, anyone who violates our airspace will face the harshest of consequences" (sumthin to that effect)

Sure you fuckin idiots, can't even hit a fuckin slow ass drone in a jet!

Actually that's one of the advantages of the MQ-1 Predator and MQ-9 Reaper, they fly so slow compared to fighters that in the amount of time it takes between getting in range and getting a missile lock the fighter has already over flown the target.

They literally fly too slow to be shot down.

Predator's cruise at 80 mph, the Iranian SU-25 stalls at way faster than that
