Yeah, just burgers! Were awesome. Gonna have some more this weekend, some of the steaks!
Venison burger is so lean and tasty. I'm hunting the next four days. Glad the kid got that deer yesterday. I'm gonna eat the tenderloins and cut up the rest for sausage.

Yeah, these old timers did an awesome job of mixin fat into it so it didn't dry out, but still all meat when cooked..but moist! Best burger I had in a long time! Have one left in fridge, so will have that for lunch on Friday!
Good luck out there! 4 days eh? Stayin out there..or just going out daily?

Just hunting the afternoons with my Uncle from Cali. He's 75 or 80 years old. Still loves to get out. It's only an hour drive to my stands. I hope the old fucker smokes one.

Symon's latest book, "Carnivore: 120 Recipes for Meat Lovers," will be released Tuesday. So in tribute to a perennial favorite (and with a new book from Cleveland's Iron Chef), let's have a look at beef, pork, lamb and veal. Chefs and butchers from around Northeast Ohio share their advice on how to get the most for your protein dollar. And make your meals all the more memorable.
