I was so pissed when me son hit his head and had to get a catscan. I was in between jobs and didn't have insurance. They wanted to charge me $2300.

My wife at the time called them from her work at a Dr's office to inquire the cost of getting a patient with insurance the same test. Like $800.

I fought and fought with them and they finally gave in and I paid $800. It is totally fucked up.
