  • Thank you 25 Cent

So as most of you have probably heard by now, 25 Cent is no longer working at the BRN as confirmed by a post on the Bubba Army Facebook group.

Just wanted to stop through and say what's up and thank you for everyone's comments and concern (Good and Bad) about what's going on, I will not be returning to work at the Bubba Radio Network. I think it's time for me to move on but it has been a great experience for me. I am very appreciative of everyone I've met through the show and consider you my friend whether I am with the show or not. Thanks again for the #nigrostickuplove, Love you fuckers.
25, if you see this, I know I speak for everyone here when I wish you the best of luck in whatever you choose to do. Thanks for being cool to the site and the fans in general and thank you for all you've contributed on air over the years.

And thanks for fixing that mug issue.

And just a quick note, if you're unhappy about the decision, there's plenty of discussion of it in the Bubba thread and I don't want this to turn into a thread ripping into Bubba. Just saying. Thanks.

Good luck 25, sorry you had to endure years of being shit on and verbally/physically by Bubba.
Come and show me another city with lifted head singing so proud to be alive and coarse and strong and cunning.

Damn. I feel like we watched 25 basically grow up on the radio. 6 years ago he was basically getting an intern getting tased and having to run around naked, then he was in modular city as the king of merch, then he basically ran the "backstage" staff, then he got mad monkey radio, and then he was on air full time. We've seen him grow so much and develop his raw talent into a pretty strong radio personality. It's like following a baseball prospect all the way from rookie league to the majors, only to have the manager blow up on him and have him traded for pieces.

I also feel like 25 was one of the last ties to the Golden Age of the first two years on Sirius. Of everyone involved with the show back then the only still regularly part of the show is Manson. Losing 25 is really the final nail in the coffin of that show that I loved. I held out hope for the last couple years that Bubba could get his shit together and start putting that kind of show out again. But now it's clear, that show is dead and it ain't ever coming back.

25 was one of the good ones and I'm really going to miss him on the radio.

Hope he finds some new dudes to chop it up with.

Well said CH!3 I remember 25 all the way back to the original 98Rock days. This is a sad day for anyone who followed 25's career from lowly intern all the way to morning show co-host. I am glad to see 25 go out on his own terms instead of how everyone else at the BRN is going out currently. I gots mad negro stick up love for Pinocchio Jones and wish him nothing but the best. I hope we see him land another radio gig locally
                            Peace and love Deuce.
