I hate to interrupt the pessimist party, but if Shannon's show still exists on IO, people that get to like him on Bubba's show might check it out. So it could possibly be a good thing for IO the way I see it. A stronger FM show in general is a good thing for IO because it's the money maker bankrolling the whole operation.
