Man the coolest thing ever was getting a door position in Airborne school. Hell of a rush.
What also is cool is the Stratosphere in Vegas. On top of a hotel about 1400 ft, and this thing shoots you straight up about 200 feet. You feel like you are going to fly out of it.
I never got the chance to go airborne, but I did go air assault and fast roping out of a helicopter is pretty badass as well.

I missed dinner there when I went,was to hung over
they are great late at night on the way home from the bar. But you will taste them well into the next day ,then feel them as they run through you ,not always in that order....

That's cool, would have loved to do that. When I was in basic at Ft Leonardwood, we were the first unit to go to bivouac week in copters. UH1's. IT was cool, but then we had to fuckin march like 15 miles to our actual site. Then after, 25 mile hike back to barracks.
they are great late at night on the way home from the bar. But you will taste them well into the next day ,then feel them as they run through you ,not always in that order....
